Since retiring I was no longer eligible for VSP through my company, so I called VSP and got an individual plan for myself and my wife. We have both used it this year and it has saved us a lot of money especially on frames! It is great insurance!
I love my doctor. She is so kind and always takes the extra step to make sure you feel cared for. She has tons of trendy frames and I only paid $500 for BOTH anti-reflective glasses AND six months of contacts. I love my VSP plan and I recommend it to everyone who doesn’t like their vision coverage!
I could not imagine paying for my eye exam and having to pay for new glasses without having VSP. I would have been out at least $1000. Very reasonable priced VSP, will never go without it.
I enrolled through coverage at my job and I have saved so much money throughout the years. What would cost thousands only costs me a couple of hundred dollars. I receive quality care. The doctor I go to is phenomenal and gives an extremely thorough exam. I wouldn’t be able to afford this if it weren’t for VSP.

I've been using VSP now for about 5 or 6 years and they've been absolutely amazing. I've been wearing glasses for 35 years and the past years with VSP has changed everything for my eyes. I didn't know what to expect with access to Optometrist and was beyond surprised with the Optometrist in their network. As a matter of fact, the last two Optometrist I've had while using VSP has been the greatest level of care and diagnosis in the past 35 years of wearing glasses. I have an astigmatism and keratoeonus, so the lenses I need are special and more expensive than the average lens. VSP allows me to get the best lenses available so I can see as clear as possible at an affordable price. I've recommended VSP to several friends and they started using them and couldn't be happier.

After years of paying high prices for necessary eyewear, I decided I would try it for a year, and this small investment saved me about $500 right off the bat! I was so happy, I purchased VSP coverage for another family and we just renewed our plans. My employer does offer coverage, but it does not compare to VSP. I highly recommend this coverage to anyone, whether they need prescription eyewear or not.

I retired over two years ago and lost my vision plan. I could have kept it; however, the cost was too much for the substandard policy. I did my research, and found VSP.
